We are staffing a fulltime position as a Quality Assurance Lead / Manager for an established company.  This person will report to the CEO and Senior Staff, being responsible for the planning, coordinating, training of personnel and resolutions to ensure that all Quality Objectives are implemented and maintained.
Duties include:

  • Ownership of Quality Assurance activities and periodic evaluations of Quality Performance.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining a quality system to assure that all products manufactured by the organization meet customer specifications.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining a quality system that exceeds all of ISO 9001:2015 requirements company wide. Responsible for conducting internal audits and managing external audits as required by certifications.?????
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining ISO 17025 certification program for designated product lines.  ?
  • Must be able to author concise, understandable documents and procedures. Similarly problem reports and quality escapes must be documented within ERP, dispositioned and appropriate actions taken.
  • Maintain compliance and certification program for EIT2.0 products and manufacturing processes, generating pertinent documentation through periodic updates and internal audits.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field with strong focus on Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance
  • 5 years of experience in a lead role in Quality Assurance in the SMT manufacturing area.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience developing project specific and organization wide Quality Assurance Plans.
  • Must be Self-directed, detail oriented work ethic and able to work independently across multiple projects and as well as the ability to work in a lean team environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of ISO 9001:2015 an ISO 17025 and FAA PMA quality procedures.
  • Must be able to work in the lead QA role, working closely with Manufacturing, Sales and Engineering.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SMT manufacturing and test methods, small electronic device manufacturing and ERP processes.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Project and Outlook.
  • Experience or familiarity with any of the following is a strong plus: PLEX ERP system, optical testing and calibration methods, FAA/PMA guidance for quality systems.
  • Must be comfortable working in a normal office, electronics lab, UV lab and SMT manufacturing environment.
